Frequently Asked Questions
What is a DOI?
DOI stands for Digital Object Identifier. It's a unique alphanumeric string assigned to digital documents, especially academic articles. DOIs provide permanent links to sources and are preferred in citations because they don't break like URLs. Most modern academic articles have DOIs.
